Years ago Dad had a 4' x 8' trailer we used to haul cord wood in the winter. We also had a rack for loose hay in the summer. That rack was made up of 4 2x4s 8' long lade crossways on the bed. Then there were 4 (two on each side)2x6" x10' There was an angle iron clip that bolted the rack to the trailer bed. Worked good. You could do that with any size trailer or wagon.
