Sorry but I do not know the length,but most implements like that used about the same shaft,at least Deere did.I have a large pile of shafts and most equipment uses the same one.The IH 990 was a very good machine,we had two seven ft. machines and mowed lots of hay with them.We changed to NH because we thought that in alfalfa the rolls in the NH made hay dry faster,but in grass the 990 was a great machine.There is a Fry's machinery in Muncy PA that has a huge implement parts yard and I am sure they would have the correct shaft.Sorry but I can not find the phone number.
