I could say many of the same things about the Deere 327 i have... Particularly about bale length. I'm somewhat at a loss to explain that one.
My own opinion... the Hesston inline design is about as simple and reliable as they come. There's fewer moving parts in the feeder. It's simple. Capacity is a function of the feed opening of which there are many variants... Hesston, Deere, NH and others all make small and large capacity balers.
I'd suggest that if this one looks good and the price is right, buy it. Ironically it has the exact same knotter design as the Deere and NH balers... so it would be hard to condemn the knotter.
