JD 425 No Spark

I"m helping a friend on his JD 425 mower and the past couple of weeks he said it"s been back firing on him and today it won"t run at all. I see the valve cover gaskets are leaking oil bad, and I was thinking that might be the problem. but (NOT THE PROBLEM)
After giving the engine a good washing and clean the fouled out plugs and trying it again it fire once and again no spark. I"m not to familiar with the Kalaski engines. The coils he said was put on new this spring so I ruled that out. I read some wheres there a Ignitor on the 425 but haven"t looked at it yet to find out where it located.

Thought I asked someone on here Yesterdays Tractors to see if they had the same simptons with the engine not getting spark? I did notice a computer board under the dash but not sure what that controls. When I get the chance tomorrow I"ll look for the Ignitor and go from there.

Right now I"m thinking it the Ignitor but I could be wrong. So I thought I"d ask before I spend a bunch of money on eletrical parts like the ignitor and have it be something else?

I"m more familiar with the JD 420"s and the 317"s but willing to get my feet wet an may learn something here.
