There were 3 different hydros used in the Large frames.
The 'numbered' Large Frame tractors from the 1250 through the 1886-04 had the EATON 12.
The HT18 and HT20 used the SUNDSTRAND 15.
The HT23, and the diesel powerd HT20D, HT22*, and HDT1000* all used the EATON 11, and had a two speed rear end.
BTW, the 1256 is a Tube Frame.
* These two were export only models, and you will most likely never see one. There are two HDT1000s known to be in the States (one of which is mine), and as far as we "Bolens nuts" know, zero HT22s.
