As shadetree said check flywheel cover for an id tag or check to see if HH120,type# and possibly sn stamped in cover,or if cover has a tag with a sears mod# on it starting with 143 write down number & goto link below,see if eng still listed at sears website.If eng still listed look at assembly drawings/parts list for carb pn & pn for a rebuild kit(if listed)most pn at sears site are tecumseh(if eng a tecumseh).
If you can't find listing for eng at sears website,take sears mod# from tag to one/more local mower shops,most shops have a sears/tecumseh cross ref that they can lookup tecumseh eng from that number & order rebuild kit or complete oem/after market carb(if needed).
Once you have pn of carb you can also check on ebay for a new/used oem/after market carb or do a goggle search for tecumseh and carb pn,you can also locate a rebuild kit the same way if you have pn for kit.
