Hi Glad to here you know what your doing with these kinda projects it helps to understand a guys point and you to be a realist also with it.
I fix for a living and Have to deal with some have a go heroes, that have no clue whats involved with half these jobs. I usually seem to get involved part way through when it was harder than the guy figured or he messed the thing up completely .
I"ve seen most of the guys that think that loader will go on there tractor for 3 hours work and $200 for time and materials, some days $200 don"t even cover the head scratching figuring it all out L.O.L. There are some jobs I won"t even do for my own tractor like this even if parts are free. It"s just to big a headache. Your other idea sounds interesting hope you can make that work good and for a sensible price. Regards Robert
