Sounds like a head gasket, you can open the radiator cap (when it is cold) and start it up. You will see bubbles if it is a bad gasket. You can also do a compression check which may show you where the leak is. The fix, if it is a head gasket, is to pull off the head and put a new one on. Previous owner of my Major replace it and said it was really easy. Hope this helps.
