I have been working on a 55 power major for the field and light tractor pulling. My restoration goals were to make it run like a top clean up major leaks and a good farm paint job. It now runs like a top and I jumped to the paint and it looks good. I have 3 leaks one oil from between fan mount and engine, one between base of the power steering box, and one from a cracked plate the trany drain plug is in. My first question was where do I get these gaskets? That was my main concern until 20 minutes ago when a ton of white smoke was blowing out of the exhaust! I ran it only for a minute or so more just to get it in the shop and it sounded like it was running smoothly. My first reaction "head gasket" right? What next?
