I think the pump timing on this Ford engine is off...I'm wondering if this is the same as a tractors setup?
I'm hoping the uploaded imaages will show up, or I'll post a link on a hosting site.
Anyway, looking the coupler to the pump, it "slotted", I'm sure to tme the pump...when I first noticed this, it was rotated all the way to one side...and that seems odd to me, so I loosened it up and centered it...now...the timing cover side of the coupler is keyed, so there's no way to adjust it, is it possible to pull the pump back..and re-index it on the gears inside the cover?
