Latest acquisition. A 1955 Ford 950 with seized engine, aftermarket wide front conversion, non-operating p/s system, spin out wheels with bad wheel locks on the left, aftermarket Zenith carb replacement.
The guy who sold it to me bought it less than a year ago. It didn't have an air cleaner on it when he bought it. The air cleaner that's on there, he bought from me along with the air tube. Gee, I wonder how long it ran without an air cleaner and if that contributed to its engine failure? Hmm......
The serial number and date codes indicate this was probably built in mid-May 1955. One date code confuses me. The hydraulic top cover date code is 4F2. Can anyone give me an idea on that?
