950 followed me home

Latest acquisition. A 1955 Ford 950 with seized engine, aftermarket wide front conversion, non-operating p/s system, spin out wheels with bad wheel locks on the left, aftermarket Zenith carb replacement.

The guy who sold it to me bought it less than a year ago. It didn't have an air cleaner on it when he bought it. The air cleaner that's on there, he bought from me along with the air tube. Gee, I wonder how long it ran without an air cleaner and if that contributed to its engine failure? Hmm......

The serial number and date codes indicate this was probably built in mid-May 1955. One date code confuses me. The hydraulic top cover date code is 4F2. Can anyone give me an idea on that? The others are all grouped pretty close:
Axle D75 - April 7, 1955
Eng 54S - April 18, 1955
Trans 54P - April 15, 1955
Rear 54Q - April 16, 1955
Radiator 4 55 - April 1955

If those PA rims are any good, they should bring you a few $$.
I've been looking for some fenders. What do they look like?

The PA rims and tires will likely stay here and get
swapped onto one of my tractors. The fenders are
good but not perfect. They have some dents and rust,
but not nearly as rotten as others I've seen.

I can take more pics of the other sides of the
fenders once I get them off.

I'll send you an email Jim, I would be interested in the fenders if
shipping doesn't kill us.
