Actually B is from a set I took off a Ferguson TO-20. That's when I learned that Fergy wheel studs are 9/16" diameter rather than 5/8" diameter. The odd thing about these is that the male stud is 5/8". So you can use these on a Ferguson, but you have to use Ford lugnuts. You are correct that the hex size is larger (1-1/8") than the others, which are all 1-1/16" hex.
Of the others, A is also for a Ferguson. Both male and female ends are 9/16". I only have a partial set of those.
C and D have the same dimensions in all respects. The only difference is that C is all hex and D is mostly round with a 1-1/16" hex on the outer end. These are the style I see in vintage parts and accessories books published by Ford.
E is not compatible with any of the others because the hex body is tapered on both ends, making the working length longer than the others.
I'm keeping the purple extenders for possible use on my TO-30 but I just learned recently that Ferguson rear wheels have a 5.5" bolt circle instead of a 6" bolt circle like the Ford. So that means I need to find a different mounting plate to put pie weights on my Fergy. What are my chances of finding two of those? Not very high, i'm guessing.
