I'm going to think outside the box here. Is it possible that Ford built that 2000 Offset into 1966 or later? The third set of numbers in that photo surely indicates a build date of 28th of September 1966 as has been stated. That S/N is high enough to be consistent with that build date.
I have a 4 cylinder 4000 that was built in June of 1965. Without looking, I think its S/N is 64***.
Ford did some inconsistent things in those days, such as putting leftover red parts on my 602 cornpicker that was mostly blue.
I have no explanation for the G suffix on the model number. Only a guess that someone decided if it needed a D suffix for diesel maybe a few of them needed a G suffix for gasoline?????
