the last few days i have noticed a very small amount of bubbly hydraulic fluid seeping from a allen-head plug bolt on top of the jubilee's hydraulic pump, this pump is the replacement rotary pump, not the original piston pump, [ i think i got that right] anyway heres the scene, i cant really find out much as to just what this plug is or does, before i pull it out and put some Teflon tape on it to stop the seepage and mess something up, i thought i would ask here and see if thats ok to do,just in case this is some kind of a overload protection or something , and if somebody knows just what that plug is/does, now the jubes job description has changed in the last few weeks, it now carries a 3point carryall, all steel about 3 by 4 feet square, im not sure what brand it is as i dug it up here on the farm about 10 years ago by accident, fixed it and put it to use, its now carrying my feed gear around twice a day which consist mainly of 4 bales of hay[ 2 wire square bales] and 4, 5 gal buckets of oats and other feed grains and additives, the total weight i recon is around 6 or 700 lbs, when parked i lower the carry all and dont leave it hanging in the air on the 3 point hitch any ideas??
