Original Ford specs are 90w Mineral Oil (which can still be found at NAPA stores and most Tractor Supply Stores), or the modern substitute is 90w GL-1 gear oil. The New Holland spec changed that to a 134d compatable hydraulic fluid, but I prefer the thicker stuff as it finds leaks less. Of course, I live in Texas - so if you live in real cold climates the thinner 134d will help your hydraulics work better in the Winter. Your call. Dan
