There should be a heavy flat washer with a small hole in the middle and through the hole should be a "jiggle Pin" a thin pin that can move around in the air flow, this keeps the hole clear. You will find that the hole will block over time unless you have this pin fitted. There have been three positions for that "valve", one was in the banjo bolt on top of the Valve Cover, one was in a valve assembly that screwed into the manifold and another was where the valve was straight into the Manifold intake as in the pictures.
