Thanks Jim in OH. Parts seems to be a non-issue and I appreciate the info on the s/n relationship to a live-PTO. That is an important item for me since the 8N's do not have it. I will be conducting a serial number check and compression test in the morning and if everything looks good, I plan on giving the purchase serious consideration. I take it you would agree.
