tell him to look for a early 1956 model ferguson. there is some debate as to when they started/stopped painting them with the more rare beige/green color scheme. mine is a 1957 model so it was painted beige and gray, but the owners manual we got with the tractor is copyrighted 1956 and the tractor on the cover appears to be painted beige/green.
