See the Poms did not need to stamp HF on the parts as they knew what went where and what tractor it belonged to.....No Dorf competition over here! I am sure some of the upstanding residents of Detroit did not know nor care where the parts ended up so putting some sort of a tag on the individual parts helped identify what went where....Then some redneck found a tractor with no HF stamping and found that Dorf parts would still fit and left Tony with a headache!!!
