Your tractor will have the 23c diesel...only the TEF20 had the 20c diesel. I would fit new liners and pistons/rings as compression is very important on these tractors. A new timing chain and tensioner is also important. Check also the bush on the drive to the injector pump for wear, though at 4000 hrs it should be OK. The liners in these engines are real easy to pull and fit, they are actually always loose-ish and the crank has to be one of the toughest about, it should not need reground at 4000 hrs But then I haven't seen it!
