Ed, I tried moving the draft lever to different positions, but that didn't have any effect. The position lever doesn't feel like it is connected to anything. I'll have to pull the Rt. side inspection cover and see what is going on inside. The decision to part it was tough, but my other TO35 has a cracked block between three of the cylinders and a bad crankshaft, but it also has a duel clutch. I've also put a new front axle assymbly, new hyd pump, and a heavier lift cover with 3" lift cylinder on it ( the old 2.5" lift cylinder broke). I'm leaning toward just swaping engines because of the duel clutch and the fact I've already replaced so much other stuff. I do agree though, it is a pretty nice '55 TO35 to part out.
