I'm not calling Fastcastle out or anything but just wanted to make sure that people knew the details because I guess some did not read the posts below, so here they are. From the posts below, I said that when we park this 4010 at night it needs three buckets under it to catch the oil that runs out of it. There is oil that comes out of the hydrualic pump (supposed to be rebuilt), oil pours out of the steering pedestal, and oil comes out of the back end. Rebuilt brakes, yeah the grab so bad and loud that Deere person said they need replace (it sounds like a plane landing if you hit the brakes with any speed). New syrcos and bearings, like I said down below, within 50 hours of use after getting it, fifth gear went out and Deere said no adjustment left. It was supposed to be rebuilt with a 4020 upgrade in it about 2000 hours ago, well we have a 4010 that is just turned up a little without a turbo that will perform better in two gears up than this thing. I have not mentioned the fact that oil also runs out of the head gasket. The best thing about this is the paint. They used very good paint as with all of it's troubles it does not desire a place inside and the paint has held up very good. Also the 95% front tires had cuts in them. We are considering parting it out, what do you all think? Also being a standard it has no rockshaft which Vern did make clear. I think this cuts the value of it down a lot. But we wanted a field ready diesel with dual hydrualics to batwing with, so a three-point was not needed. Fastcattle, Do you want to buy it or know of somebody that wants to?

It was on one such Saturday in the early 1940's when Sam was 16 years old that he ended up in Dennison, Kansas to watch a demonstration of a new tractor being put on by a local dealer. It was an Allis-Chalmers tractor dealership,
