RB - You pretty much covered it! A couple more things to do however: 1 - After oiling each cylinder but before replacing the plugs, hook up the battery and crank the motor until you get oil pressure showing on the gage. That'll get the internal oil lines filled up and also get some lubrication to the valve mechanisms in the head. 2 - If bees, wasps etc are about, check around the fan and in the exhaust for nests before cranking the motor the first time. (This I learned the hard way a few summers ago....) 3 - Be ready on the kill switch the first time you fire the motor. Governors have been known to stick open after sitting a long time - be ready to shut off the ignition if the motor takes off on you.
