MD, what do you think?

I can get a good running and driving Farmall MD, with the diesel. It has faded paint, and 30% rear tires, but it's at $2000 if I get it tomorrow. It had hydraulic Lift All and PTO. What should I look for in the diesel version of this great tractor?
