Hey Bama - I have a Super H with a loose shift lever that does the same thing every once in a while. Removed the shift lever and swapped it with the ones from my wife's dad's Super H. The problem disappeared. Comparing the two sets of shifter parts revealed the bottom end and the pivot hole are worn on my shift lever. Also my shifter retaining pin is kinda chewed up. My "to do" list includes finding replacement parts (or using weld to build up the ones I've got).
