i snaped the 1000 rpm pto shaft on my 986 brushoging with a woods HD 315. i noticed a few weeks back the seal was lecking around the 540 shaft, asking to see if any of you guys had this happen, is it better to get a rebuilt exchange unit or buy a new shaft and do it my self. i plan to do this winter as i have 2 other tractors with 1000 rpm pto's. also i was mowing a heavy field of grass and weeds do you think the 15 foot batt wing is to much for the 986 ? thanks
