like was said the 560 housing works on a SM. But if you want to use a M through 450 housing on a 560 the T/A handle piviot bracket won't bolt up the best unless some grinding is done. Like said 560 bearings work right in a SM axle housing. Think it was part way through 560 building that the axle housing wall thickness was increased on high crops. Don't remember if the same happened on regular farmalls.
