With the air expelled from the loader and the loader plumbed correctly and the lever located behind the rt leg in the correct engaged position everything should work. The hydraulic pump located inside the rear end of the tractor works ALL the hydraulic needs. That is why I asked if the brakes were working. The flow of oil is going to take the path of least resistance and if you are dumping oil back into the resevoir without restriction or if you have permitted air to enter into the system and the plumbing arrangment does not force the air from the steering I think you could experience the problem you are having. Realize that I have not had this occurrence and this opinion is only that, an opinion.
