I kinda misunderstood your problem then. I would say that something is not installed correctly then. I thought that the shaft moved while it was assembled. I would check to see if you need the spacers for that cap. It may be applying too much pressure on the shaft, OR the bearings are not installed correctly. Don't doubt the mistakes of others. let us know what you find..
