If I were doing it, I would tap into the smaller tube (this is the pressure side) with a open center valve. You should not have any problem dropping pressure. I am sure any valve you will find will have large enough ports to not restrict the flow at all. You should be able to keep it close to the touch control unit. Use a control rod to link to the operator seat. Then run your lines wherever you need to. What are you trying to control that you need auxiliary hydraulics?
