Hi, Carl. I didn't weigh in on your last question, as the other boys covered it pretty thoroughly. The F12/F14 radiator is about as simple as they get. Cast iron left and right side brackets, top and bottom tank, all bolted on. Just unbolt everything, and all that's left is the core. It has large copper flanges top and bottom that fit between the tank and a 'spreader bar' that clamps it to the tank. The old gasket material will try to keep the flange 'glued' to the tanks, be careful separating it. After it's apart, it can be rodded out and repaired as necessary. Seems like I have heard about new cores, don't remember where, but remember that they were pricey. You might try Rice Equipment if your's is beyond economical repair.
