I would prefer a good 75 psi gauge over a 60 but you can try what you have to establish is you have low pressure or just bad gauge. Oil pump covers are pretty heavy on the H, not like the pot metal ones on smaller tractors like C so the cover doesn't usually give much trouble. But, the shafts in those pumps wear out bad and then you loose hot oil pressure at low speeds. Sticky, gummed up relief valves and weak or broken spring other problems. Wrong relief valve got circumvented into a lot of these H and M's due to parts mix up many, many years ago resultling in about 45 psi tops.
