David you have hit the jackpot. This is a very active forum on H questions. What is the serial number on the tag? Oh BTW almost 400,000 Hs were built so there are parts readily available. I would suggest the operator's and parts manuals for starters. You can get them at IH, this site, Binder books, etc. I think Kim forgot to stick the site search back under the research section. There are extensive archives on H questions. When you are bored stiff, look in article archives, then under research, you will find a 1951 Farmall H rebuild article.
