As mentioned, the split, actually a double split, is the worst part. When I did mine I used my tractor loader to remove the torque tube and take to a bench where I could work on it. I had the blue ribbon guide, IT manual and also the parts manual, used all of them. I probably had about $300 in mine with a rebuilt ramp and roller setup and gaskets. My ta clutch disc was good. I didn't think it was a tough job to do but then I have worked on tractors for many years and have equipment to handle heavy parts. The book really helped as there was one bolt that you couldn't see.
