Here is my hydraulically driven and modified IH 130 Balanced Head mower that fits my Clark forklift. It is going on the front of my F400 that will have a forklift mast that plugs into the front fast hitch. It will cut in any position and any height to 10'. I'll be using the creeper drive that's already built. The come-a-long corrects the camber so that I get a flat cut when the bar is horizontal
Although I have never seen a left hand sickle bar mower, it shouldn't be too difficult to re-drill the bar so that the rock guards are on the other side. Maybe the British use left hand mowers. They have left hand sidecars and even Harley-Davidson made a few for use in the USA. I think the police depts used them for writing parking tickets.
The poor man's front wheel drive won't be completed for some time. I might get back to it during the winter.
