Your valve clearance is correct. Torque the head in increments to 80 ft lbs, then retorque and adjust again after a few hours. Rocker arm torque unless held on by a head bolt is not critical, just get them tight. Super C did not appear until early-mid 1951. If there is any doubt the C has a 3-5 digit serial, the SC 6 digit. SC has curved brake and clutch pedals and disk brakes (cast covers on the SC vs stamped steel on the C).
