That yoke threads off ! I believe it is a left hand thread.
Take a old 1/2 drive socket and weld a piece of key stock accross it that is the same width as the slot on the yoke. You may get lucky width a "good" impact gun but you will probaly end up with a big pry bar.
Tractor in gear, there is horror stories on the removal of this yoke. If your going to drain the trans a little heat might not hurt. I got lucky with a impact and it came right off.
The orignal seal is a twin lip leather one. The new ones are single lip, put this new seal inbetween the ware marks of the orignal seal.
The new seal will be thinner and take up much less space, make sure you put the sealing surface on a area of the shaft that doesn't have a ware mark .
This wasn't a bad job for me i got lucky . Use a old impact socket and weld the hell out of it.
What i told you hear is what the I.H dealer had me do and it works perfect "ZERO" leaks .
