A naked H is still beautiful. Try putting your hand (safely) against the side of the alternator when whining. If that reduces the noise, superglueing a modest piece of silicon rubber to the inside face might reduce the noise. Welding another rear support to the main bracket that is located where the rear lower mount on the alt is located (eliminating the all thread spanning the gap) will also reduce harmonic vibration. Have them send you a new gauge in the mail and tell them you will let us know how well you were treated, by their rapid response, on this site. JimN
