Those tractors are set up with rear wheel weights mounted inside of the wheels - can see the wheel weights in the side photo. Also the rear tires are loaded. And there's a massive sub-frame mounted under the tractor belly between the front wheels and the drawbar. So I doubt these tractors are near as top heavy as they appear. They transport 'em (and sometimes even plow snow) in 5th gear - an amazing sight! Another neat feature: They're set up so the tractors can be double-headed for moving very deep snow and drift breaking. The plow on one tractor is linked to the drawbar on the tractor ahead - you wind up with two tractors connected "elephant style". A pair of these will effortlessly clear packed snow deep as deep as the V-plow. I think Red's right about the steering however - it's gotta be an SOB with all that weight out front...
