I have removed the shafts on both of my 400s. You will need to remove both of the brake pedals and the clutch pedal also. After removing the woodruff keys it will slide out easily enough. I don't remember if it even matters which side it slides out. Weld it up. Turn it down. Slide back in. I turned mine at work myself. Pretty easy job. SDE
