Yes, it is that heavy. If you are working on it by yourself, fabricate those tools. If you have a good floor jack, and one other person to help, then you don't need that tool. Not only is the belly pump very heavy, it is also very ackward and unbalanced. It is not a one man job unless you have the proper tools.
