I have a cub also. What we really need is an overhead valve that could replace the flat head. I play with Model "T" Ford cars and some speed companies in the 20's made overhead valve conversions and overhead cam conversions. This would really "wake up" an old Ford 4 cylinder. Probably a really talented mechanic could find a suitable match and make it work but it would be a big project. I once saw a two motor Farmall "A" that worked! That would be another solution.
