I had the same problem with both my Super A and Super C and was able to repair both with just a new O-ring. The shaft on the first wasn't very worn and I was confident a new o-ring would do the trick as the old was was brittle, worn, and with grooves. The shaft on the second one was quite worn and I thought I would have to go the speedi-sleeve route but thought I didn't have much to lose with first just trying the o-ring and have found that that did the trick as well. Bottom line from my perspective is try a new o-ring first and then go the speedi sleeve route if you still have problems.
