I recently acquired a 1946 Farmall A from my brother in-law. He mowed about three acres every week with it. Two Summers ago he got a new mower. That winter he didn"t drain the radiator. I think the freeze plug cracked or heaved. Anyway, the old tractor runs good, has good oil pressure, and smokes minimally on cold start up. I plan on driving the tractor in parades pulling a wagon. I plan on new sheetmetal and tires. How much work is an engine overhaul ? Is DuPont Centuari good paint, and what number. Thanks, this is a great source of information. TJS
