Your engine will not have to be bored as the dry sleeve wall thickness is thinner by 1/16". The outside diameter is the same. I believe most rebuild kits with replaceable sleeves are a larger bore. Check piston to head/valve clearances if you install the high compression pistons. My only experience with Tisco kits has been with a "M". We installed the higher compression pistons, advanced timimg a slight amount, adjusted carb properly and did some head modifications (valve angle and smoothed exhaust ports, matched intake and exhaust ports to the manifold and increased compression ratio) to the engine. The performance increase was excellant and reliability was not significantly compromised. The "M" engine has 248 cubic inch displacement and produces about 30 to 35 hp. There is room on the Farmall engines to achieve greater performance and still maintain reliability. Good luck Medfarm
