I suppose it might be easier to remove the pump than to remove the radiator. I have not done this on an M, but have on an I-6, which is easier because the steering shaft does not have to be removed like on the M and the bolster is not in the way. I've never had much luck trying to get to the fan area on these tractors without removing the radiator.
