Brenda, there are two places to look for the serial number. There should be a plate under the oil bath air cleaner on the clutch bell housing. If not, look above the number one spark plug (closest to the radiator) and you will see a stamped number in the cylinder block. It may or may not match the plate number under the air cleaner. Report back with a number and we will figure out the year.
