Those would be "average" prices for restored tractors in perfect condition. Basket cases are worth anywhere from $0 to $500. Running tractors that need some work to get them fieldwork ready are going to range from $1000 to $2000, depending on how bad they are. Tractors that need engine work and/or transmission work will be at the lower end of the scale, while a tractor that REALLY just needs paint (never believe the seller when he says "just needs paint," cuz the head's probably cracked, the cam lobes are probably rounder than the crank journals, and it probably uses more oil than gas) will be on the high end of the scale. Bad paint jobs REDUCE the value of the tractor, but idiots still insist on brushing acrylic latex on the hood, claiming "fresh paint," and charging extra. Mind you this is just for the tractor. Any implements will add to the price.
