Ed: If you go to the url below which is the Cub Manual Server you will have access to a few helpful bits of information. The Blue Ribbon Service Manual - GSS-1012 Electrical Equipment, the GSS-1411 Service Manual for Cubs and Lo-Boy Tractors, GSS-1356 Engine tun-up Specifications manuals are there. Also, the link to a series of helpful articles by H.L. Chauvin are there. They provide trouble shooting and informative tricks and techniques in a humourous way that is entertaining as well as informative. This should be of value as you work this through. Also, there is a section called Maintenance Tips and Techniques which is a series of articles by some of our very knowledgeable and helpful Cub-a-holic bretheren... Hope this helps
